PTO is a huge asset to our school and there is a tremendous need for volunteers to serve on the board or on a committee for the schools major events. Here’s the list of board positions that are open for candidates and if you’re interested in filling one, please email us at [email protected]. The deadline to get your name on the ballot is April 12th. Ballots will be available for voting from April 15th-19th. More instructions will be sent out before April 15th.

-The President shall serve as leader and key contact for the PTO; preside at all PTO meetings; ex-officio member of most committees; appoint chairpersons for special committees; coordinate the work of the officers and committees so that the PTO’s objectives can be met.
-The Vice President shall act as an aide to the President; perform the duties of the President in the absence or inability of that officer to serve; assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Board; coordinate the general activities of any Special Committees created by the Executive Board. Ideally – is willing to serve as President in the future.
-The secretary shall keep the minutes of all general meetings and all meetings of the Executive Board; prepare correspondence and perform all other duties assigned; maintain master documents; help recruit committee chairpersons for all vacant standing committees of the board; keep the calendar of events for the PTO.
-The Parliamentarian shall act as a consultant to assure that meetings and processes are conducted in accordance with bylaws; advise on parliamentary procedures using Robert’s Rules of Order; bring current copy of By-Laws to all meetings.
-The media coordinator can be a separate facilitator or connected with a board position and shall manage communications and marketing for the PTO,including but not limited to PTO newsletters, email broadcasts, website, bulletin boards, etc.
